Outfit: H&M Metallic Threaded Sweater; pleated skirt/ Vera Wang velvet leggings

It's been 4-ish days since my mom left for China. Sigh, I miss her. Anyway I bought a new sweater, from H&M! I really love it! It's long, warm and sparkly! It has metallic threads so it's shiny! The weekend just before my mom left for China, I took my mom shopping. I saw those heels, I slightly wanted them, but at the same time I didn't because I wouldn't wear it much, but I thought it was awesome to take a picture of it! The drive to LAX was amazingly cloudy and wet! In some parts the freeway was just hit was super hard rain and then a sprinkle, then just clear skies! It was weird this Monday. It was super wet.

I will wear that sweater/pleated skirt outfit soon. Once I do the laundry... My mom usually does the laundry, but since she's not home I'm doing it right now.

I don't remember but I think this was like two weeks ago, I went to Santa Anita Mall to just do something besides go to 'Lette and get tea. It was just similar to the malls where I live, so it wasn't so amazing. Just more food and more stores, nothing much. But the best part was that they had a two tiered carousel! Anyway, my friend got a Unsweetened Lemon Black Tea, if you couldn't tell it was a real lemon, the seed was in there! I got a Jasmine Green Milk Tea with soy milk/creamer and less sugar. I like this place, but it's expensive compared to other tea houses/places.

My friend's and my obsession with curry nowadays. It's sad. Sort of! I bought that chocolate because it was on sale, like about 50% off? It was worth it, I don't like chocolate that much, but if it's pure chocolate, dark chocolate is my favorite! Another favorite is kit-kats, I love them! I've been trying to find the perfect jasmine green milk tea, but so far only Tapex Teahouse in Santa Anita, Boba Loca in Garden Grove and the green milk tea at Guppies Tea House is the best in my book.

I went to go watch Chronicle a week or two before. It was pretty interesting, sad, but I pretty much expected that. We were to watch Ghost Rider, but it's this week! A lot of drama unfolded, but I'll be there for those who would like for me to be there. Anyway, I went grocery shopping, so I bought lemonade, then two more later, one for my friend and another for me for my night class, goodness, I needed it! The sugar kept me more awake I guess. Then today I went to Albertson's and bought stamps and that smoothie. It's pretty sweet, but it's okay. After drinking it some more I'm beginning to like it. And I made breakfast with a slice of Italian bread from Fresh & Easy, an egg, tofu, a tangerine and green tea. Yum!

Happy Valentine's Day!

My Valentine's Day was spent with my awesome friend, who got my my favorite flowers of all time: tulips! They are at the bottom of the post! The color isn't exactly pink or purple, but I believe it's fuschia! So cute! They began to open lots more today! The raspberry lemonade yogurt was I think last week's lunch (well part of it). And that was the outfit I wore today window shopping.

My friend also took me and my sister out to sushi last week, if I remember correctly! Ugh, I love my friend, he's too nice! Don't worry I'll pay you back! ;) I ordered a lunch special that had rice, chicken teriyaki, salad, and a spicy tuna roll! My sister ordered a california roll and vegetable roll, while my friend ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl and a special roll, that look amazing! I will try that roll next time! So good!

H&M White Satin Blouse & a new hair cut
It's Superbowl Sunday! Oh, the Giants won! I totally thought the Patriots were to win! What!? Anyway, since I finished reading my philosophy book and began a bit of my physics homework, I thought why not go out for a bit. So I did, I went to watch The Grey with my friend. The movie was interesting, it kept you on your toes! And damn, Liam Neeson, you've got bright blue eyes!

I got a new haircut, my sister isn't used to it and my dad dislikes it! I don't mind it, it's something different! I do miss my long bangs though! Nothing much. I do plan on trying to put on make up more often! I get lazy, then I don't, I am not sure what's with me!

My first week of school is over! Time for the second week!

My mom got that from her work! It's super adorable! It's an eight gigabyte usb drive for the lunar new year! Isn't it adorable?

My outfits for the two days I managed to try to dress up (Well, really tried to take a photo with good lighting!). The red one is for the day I went to Huntington Gardens/Library with my friend. I've already wore this outfit before, but it was simple. Plus I felt like wearing red, so why not!

The second outfit that is just shades of black, white, and grey (Is that how you spell grey? I'm not too sure, I keep on forgetting!) was worn yesterday, my Thursday night class! I was going to wear my new Toms with that outfit, but I had to break it in, so it hurt a bit, so I was wearing boots for a reason.

Plus I also made some lemon tarts! Well, they were a recipe that was for lemon bars, but I finally used my tart pans that I bought a long while back! It work out just fine! Since I didn't have cornstarch I just used a bit of flour. I liked it, since it wasn't too... How do you say it? It was firm and not just like curd or gelatinous? Kind of like cheesecake? Oh goodness, I don't know how to explain it! It was yummy though!

I'm back in school. The first week wasn't too awesome. I lost my pencil case, it sucks. On the plus side, I got into the physics class I wanted! So I'm ecstatic! I just hope someone will turn in my pencil case. I've got my fingers crossed to hope that it will be back!

Starbucks Iced Unsweetened Passion Tea, yum!

I really like this tea. I plan on just buying the teabags some day! But for now, it'll be once in a while. Lunar New Year was quite okay. No one came, but me and my family didn't expect anyone to come, like to visit relatives thing? I know it's bad that we don't do it, but I think it's only because my parents are older now and our Grandmother from my dad's side is gone for a while now. So probably no reason to visit anymore. Although I never keep the money I get from the red envelopes, it's just interesting how much people give.

Moro blood oranges I just got today! I love the color!

These are really good! Tart but not too tart, which my mom loves, so it's good! I love the color mostly! I'm glad I caught this deal at Fresh & Easy! I plan on making Lemon bars before I go out again, so hopefully I can finish it by then! Uhm, yeah!

I'm re-reading Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I don't know, I think I'm getting lazier and lazier, which makes me really sad. Anyway, after this post I'll just start reading. I finally painted my nails! Although I didn't take a photo of it yet. I'm really into dark nail polishes. Ugh, I want to go get some more dark nail polishes!

Accessories: H&M Rings & Relic (from Kohl's) Tortoise Rhinestone Encrusted Watch

Here's a better photo of my new watch! I really like the ring choices I made for this one. I sort of want a cocktail ring, but at the same time I think it's a bit too chunky for my style. Plus my fingers are really thin or something, so I feel that big rings are probably a no-go for my fingers.

Goodness these boots are really warm! Although these boots don't look good with me and skinny jeans, they are still wonderfully warm! These are about a size too big for me, only because my mom is a foot size bigger. It still works fine! I love wearing these boots, because my feet have temperature problems, it gets really bad sores or something when it's too cold and it becomes really irritating. So these help a lot! Well so does socks, but when I'm lazy!

And I'll just leave you guys what kind of flowers I bought for my mom. Orchids! I wanted this other flower color, it was the same purple as the mouth of this flower below, but this woman was being pretty "high & mighty" and said "excuse me" in a very rude way and just squeezed her way between me and my sister to get to the flower I was staring at... Sucks. I should have picked it up before she did! Sigh!

Well, I really like the contrast! Plus, it's like pure, clear, and then the contrasting purple makes it really beautiful! I don't know how to exactly explain it the way my mom said it, in Teochew she said "chang chang." It's like clean, not tainted? Well, my mom said she liked it and so did my sister, so that's good to hear! Lunar New Year is in three days (for me)! Happy Year of the Dragon you guys!

I was debating to do this on Sunday/Monday for a Lunar New Year post, but why not now?

Fettuccine Alfredo with a Pan-Fried Salmon

I've been eating this for a while. Since I have a jar of it. So I've been gaining weight. Either it's my pre-"time of the month" or it's cold, so am I like a bear or something?

Traffic, even for the exit! I thought the sky was interesting too!

When me and my family was coming back down from Rosemead. Horrible traffic, two accidents, one VERY big one with multiple cars and a second small one. I don't know. I think drivers these days are horrible. Although I do wish that I could walk to places more, it's just pretty far, since it's not like the city.

Finally! Almost home!

I was getting tired of the car right about now. Plus earlier my dad was getting super frustrated with the "crappy" drivers these days. There's always at least one accident a day on the freeway. Sucks, doesn't it?

My outfit that day was simple, so I didn't think it was necessary. I had a nice outfit today, but I got lazy to take a photo. I kind of wish someone would drag me to go work out. Although I don't have a pass, I just don't see the reason why to get a pass when I could just go running at the park! Ah, whatever. I do crunches and squats at home anyway. Although, I'm still gaining weight, which really irks me, but my "time of the month" is pretty late. Sigh.

If only money grew on trees

Money sort of does, if it's part paper. But then we'd all be rich and everything we owned was inflated to how big and how much our tree grew. Which would suck, by the way.

I've been online window shopping forever right now, because (1) I hate wasting money on things I really don't need, (2) The items are so pretty, (3) UGH, I WANT, (4) The items I want are expensive, (5) It means I need money.

It sucks how the world revolves around money. Sometimes I wish we could barter, but then again, we'd all want to trade for something nice with the shit we don't want that we own. Once I get a job, save up enough, I'll probably get an apartment/studio and just ask for my parents to pay for my school, everything else, I'll just get myself. You know that's my dream. I just want a simple, small studio, I'll furnish what I need and if I want to do more, then I must make some money in order to do that. I don't really care for independence, because what does independence mean to you? Still stuck to your parents' (or one parent's) money while you live out on your own, means independence? Or completely cutting off from your parents, you earn money, buy what you need with your own hard-earned money? What I consider independence is the latter.
But we all have our own definition of things.

If you didn't notice mostly everything I want are simple colors... Like the jewelry, it's all white and gold. I have an obsession with white and gold. And if you see my closet (well my side, I share with my younger sister) it's quite monotonous. It has some color here and there, but really, no colors. I don't know if I can persuade myself to get brighter colors. It's hard already trying to wear red from time to time, yellow's a no-go, but white, I'm fine with.

I have to thank my friend for helping me get a job. Although it's a call in job, it's better than nothing. I really would have wanted to hang out today, but I guess not. Tomorrow I might be going out, so outfit post? Although I really want to go hang out with my friends at the bonfire this Saturday, I might be able to go for a bit and then leave to go play badminton... Plus it's my friend's birthday and I haven't played in a while, which should be fun. Totally. But I miss it, so I will and I haven't hung out with this group of friends since New Year's Eve, so it should be fun!

I have some photos from my phone. I went to Rosemead/Monterey Park/El Monte on Saturday, to get some Lunar New Year sweets! Gosh, I love this bakery, they make such wonderful sweets. It's Chinese sweets, but yeah. Got stuck in traffic, two accidents on the freeway going southbound, sucks. Uh, yeah. The photos will be in the next post. For the past month or two I've been debating if I should get a new hair cut and color. I'm slightly frightened of the horror stories that come with it. For one I really want to get a blunt fringe and maybe either dye my hair in a milky brown or auburn red. Ah, maybe I'll wait until I feel ready, which might be never, but we'll see.

Chinese Lunar New Year is very soon! I think that would be a good reason to get a new hair cut or something!

F21 Black Blazer & Blue/Grey Sweater; Self-Altered Black Jean Shorts (originally from Macy's as skinny jeans)There are a couple things that I think I miss in life, that has changed in 2011. Mostly the simplicity is what I miss and the naivety I had, but right now, the complexity is just so much more fun and exciting, maybe because I've never been in this type of situation, maybe because I've changed for the better, or maybe because I'm content with my life right now. I don't live a rich life, not everything has fallen into my hands easily, but I've worked and earned the many things I have and deserved much of the experience that I did in 2011 will probably carry over to 2012. I know it's late to do this type of paragraph (what?), but many things has unfolded in the past week that got me thinking.

This winter break I've been having is quite boring. I really want to go Huntington Library/Gardens and San Diego again. But for San Diego is to visit the beaches, plus probably this time try more of the foods and of course the lemonade! So good!

Went to see "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" on Sunday! It changed a lot of the scenes which irked me, but it was quite alright, I shouldn't have expected so much of it. Sigh. Anyway I don't know what else to type.

I was able to see my grades last night! So not happy. Man, I thought I was going to get an A in Calculus, but fuck, I got a B, what the hell, I thought I did really well on my final! I don't get it! The only exciting one was my Physics grade, an A! I'm still frustrated though, how in the world did I get a B?! Ah, well, whatever (not really, but just gotta accept it!)

I'm really having a boring winter break. I wish that me and my friends planned something as a group to go somewhere, but then again our group isn't really a group anymore, sadly. What can you do? People change and times change. All I can do is try to enjoy the moments we do have fun together.

We all miss it, don't we?

I went to Starbucks with my friend the other day. We were craving macarons and we thought might as well get something to drink too! So we went to Starbucks, my friend ordered a Chai Latte, while I ordered an unsweetened Passion Tea. It was a new girl making drinks, so my drink tasted watered down and my friend's tasted sweeter than usual. Eh. The macarons were extremely good! We bought lemon and passion fruit (plus one coffee for my sister)! They all tasted so good! I loved the lemon and coffee! Passion fruit was just as good, but damn, lemon and coffee was just superb!

The top was from my friend as a Christmas gift. My friend that I wore to get Starbucks and macarons thought it was funny looking... It felt flow-y, so I didn't mind it!

I had just finished The Girl Who Played With Fire in pretty much two days. Now I'm reading Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy! It's confusing, but I'm getting it, sort of. I'm assuming the beginning, as it is with most books, it is the background and the settings before the actual plot begins. Ah, I can't wait until that part!

Earlier this week I had watched the season premier of BBC1's Sherlock! Goodness, it is so good! I love Sherlock Holmes! And if you must know I've already watched Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows the weekend it came out. Robert Downey Jr. was so amazing! And I didn't know Jude Law was on Sesame Street! Ah! I haven't fully watched the first Sherlock Holmes movie, but dang, both are very different, but they still follow a similar story line! Benedict Cumberbatch! Yes, I'm slightly fan-girl-ing at the moment, but come on, Sherlock Holmes is just genius!

I'm sorry this is getting long, but with the topic of television. I watched Pretty Little Liars this week too. I didn't like last season that much (boring, really), but dang the season premier was just jaw clenching! Or something of that sort! Go watch it!

The Ferrero Rocher was my sister's very late Christmas present from my friend. She gasped at it many times. And me and my sister went out for sushi today (I entirely forgot to take a photo of the sushi) but I noticed they gave me a lemon in my drink! Which I love, because I love trying to mash that lemon and mix it with my water. It was tough, but fun!

If many of you didn't notice, I used my Flickr account to upload photos and I just found out that you can upload them on here, which seems fun. I wonder if there's a limit though. Hm. Doing this reminded me that I have to clean up my pictures folder, sigh. I don't know if you all still read my Wordpress, but I'm going to be deleting some photos on my Flickr, so you'll see some disappearing photos, if that's quite alright with you guys. And I guess Blogger is like a new start for me. So, uh, yay?

I've never really liked some of old outfit photos, but they will still be in my hard drive. I'll bring them out once in a while to reminisce! I'll try to do some actual photography once in a while. I miss doing that (I'm actually really lazy, ya'know). Uh, anyway, have a wonderful day/night (It's night here, I'm kept up with thinking and reading)!

If only I could afford this outfit. I love the mixture of colors in this. Also, polyvore is fun, it's like window shopping, but it makes me super sad, because of the prices! Otherwise, I will probably buy the H&M jewelry up there and maybe those shorts. I've been into those kind of loafers for a while. I don't know why I like them! But I did see a similar pair at Payless last weekend. I wanted them, but they seemed so plain, so I wanted velvet ones. Urban Outfitters have them, which I want, but they are probably around forty to fifty dollars. Ugh!

This was my nails for NYE, forgot to take a photo and just did that with my phone. I liked it, it was simple and cute. Although my nail lengths weren't (if you couldn't tell from my ring finger's nail). I have a nasty habit at picking at my nails and the skin around it. I'm trying to quit that act for a while, but it's been better. I'm picking them less, so I'm happy!

Today, I just got the books I ordered! The shipping was super fast! I guess shipping right now is fast... Or just fast for me, 'cause I usually get my Amazon books pretty fast. At the moment, I'm reading The Girl Who Played With Fire. Ugh, so good! I'm not at the dark and gritty parts just yet, but I can see how things can unfold and I can't wait!

I didn't know my hair was that long. Wow. I think it's time to get a new haircut, or at least get a blunt fringe/bangs, or side fringe works too! I want to go to a hair salon, only because my mom said she doesn't know how to cut it.

Merry Late Christmas! (For those who celebrate it!)
It's only been a couple of months since I've started this and I'm grateful for those who have read some of my posts. Although I have about twenty followers on my Facebook page, I'm just still glad you guys are willing to let me on your facebook feed, at least!

Well it's almost New Years and if my friends do get together for New Years or New Years Eve, I've got an outfit I want to wear! BUT! I won't post it here, until after New Years.

My winter vacation has been spent on reading, little cleaning and lots of food. I have finished The Secret Garden and Night. I would continue to read The Christmas Carol, but book kept on telling me to read this book instead. It was right. I've read up to 300 pages, yesterday. Yesterday! Unbeleiveable! Well, I have finished both of the other books in two days. So that's not something new!

The only new thing in this outfit is the cream satin blouse I got at H&M the other day! Which I love! For one: it doesn't wrinkle, two: I stained it earlier and it was easy to get off, and three: its super soft and light!

Well, I put on some make-up that day, so yeah. If many of you haven't noticed, I don't like putting on lipstick, it seriously doesn't make sense sometimes, like some people can pull it off, but why can't I? Hm. Maybe it's not meant to be.
